HAF Group sells practical products for the logistics, courier, storage and transport industry. The HAF shop focuses on equipment and supplies that drivers, fleet operators, storage site operators, trades and logistics businesses use in their day-to-day work.

HAF does not sell padel products or unrelated general merchandise. Every product category in the HAF shop is connected to courier, logistics, storage, warehousing, load restraint, vehicle cleaning or site supply.

How to choose ratchet straps

Ratchet straps are rated by their lashing capacity. The rating on the strap refers to the maximum load the strap can safely restrain. Use the following as a guide:

• 800kg straps — suitable for light loads such as small parcels, boxes and lightweight equipment in a van.
• 2 tonne (2T) straps — general van work, trade loads, courier freight and standard cargo restraint.
• 5 tonne (5T) straps — heavy haulage, plant equipment, large machinery and high-weight loads.

Always check the webbing condition before use. Do not use straps that are frayed, torn, chemically damaged or where the ratchet mechanism is faulty.

Make sure hooks and lashing points are rated to the same load as the strap. Using under-rated hooks or securing to unrated anchor points can cause load shift during transit.

How to choose storage products

Consider the following when choosing storage containers or site storage:

• What do you need to store, and does it need to be weatherproof or secure?
• How much space do you have on site or in a yard?
• Do you need a permanent unit or a flat pack solution that can be moved?
• Will the storage unit be accessed frequently or used for long-term secure storage?
• Do you need accessories such as shelving, locks or internal fittings?

How to choose cleaning kits

HAF cleaning and detailing kits are intended for vehicles, vans, fleets and site equipment. Consider:

• Whether you need interior, exterior or full-detail products.
• The type of vehicle — van, HGV, car, or fleet.
• Whether you are cleaning regularly on the road or at a depot or site.
• Whether you need kit for one vehicle or a fleet of vehicles.
